The dumpster was delivered and ready to go.

Our prescribed order of operations for getting the shell of the room back together are as follows:

1. Demo the ceiling and remove it from the rafter ties.
2. Remove every other rafter tie and double up the existing ones.
3. Rough in the new electrics in the ceiling and walls.
4. Fill in the spaces between the roof rafters with insulation.
5. Cover the roof rafters with a layer of 1/2” OSB (Oriented Strand Board)
6. Add a layer of 5/8” drywall over the OSB
7. Paint, paint, paint, paint, and paint (since we’re removing the carpet it’ll be the perfect drop cloth)
8. Pull up the carpet
9. On top of the homasote subfloor put down a specific floor pad
10. On top of the floor pad float an engineered hardwood floor

That’s our Phase 1.  Should be quick to do right?
